Mood: waiting for wind
9th July 2008
Windsurfing: Tarifa - Spin Out
Wind Direction: Levante
Wind Stength: F5-6
Surf / Sea State: Some swell but main B&J
Air Temperature: toasty
Sea Temperature: boardies weather
Weather: hot, sunny & windy !!
Max Speed:
Distance Covered:

Similar to previous day, but wind kicked in earlier and came through stronger. Still a bit gusty but quality session regardless.

More 09 toy testing on agenda, but this time it was a bun-fight for the smaller stuff.

First one out, took the Rocket 105 with 7.0m Matrix ..... super fast combo but on sensing the wind increasing took a tactical option and headed in for a Pocket Wave 93 and Poison 5.4m before anyone else realised how windy it was getting. Had a superb session on the Pocket / Poison combo and this is one I'd have taken home if it would have fitted in my zip-away holdall ;-)
After a short break, the only kit lying about that I could try was a FS90 with 5.6m Echo, so I did. I did not do anything resembling freestyle on it, but that's not a surprise really !!

Had such a good session on the PW93, again in boardies, with the Poison 5.4m ... I might even tweak my quiver to accomodate the 5.4m Poison ....
